I am a dentist who immigrated from Brazil in 2003 to further my education. Since I was a child in Brazil, I always admired the America spirit. The bravery during the Revolutionary war, the war of 1812, the civil war, the second world war. The ingenuity that made possible to reach the moon and the inspiration incorporated inside the Declaration of Independence and US Constitution. As a foreigner I see the US as a beacon of freedom and hope to the world. I am proud of becoming a US citizen in 2016. I tried to put of this literary work essays that I have written throughout the years to reflect how I see America through the perspective of a foreigner and an immigrant. I believe Americans have forgotten the impact that their country has around the world. The hope it offers for freedom and the pursuit of happiness.

I currently live in Virginia Beach, VA with my wife and son. I did my post-graduation in Dental Prosthetics at Brazilian Dental Association. I got my Dental Residency certificate at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami. Same place where I got my Dental Implant Prosthetics Fellowship. I did post-graduation courses at Havard University and Tufts Dental School. I finished my Master Degree in Dental Implants at Goethe University, Frankfurt, Germany. I am currently a fellow for the Academy of General Dentist, International College of Oral Implantologists and International College of Dentists.

I like to use my spare time to play tennis, watch movies, watch documentaries, read, write, run 5ks. But most importantly I like to spend time with my family, which has a Family Foundation called Alencar Family Foundation created in 2020 to perform charity work in Hampton Roads Virginia, where we reside.

I previously published a couple of Sci-fi books with the titles Singularity and Knight Discoverer. I also participated in an Anthology with articles.
